Attaché has won 57 of 65 competitions entered which includes the
national record winning streak of 22 straight Grand Championships

Thanks for a great Fall Revue!!!
Attaché would like to thank everyone for their support of the Fall Revue!
Student performances, parent and community support, and the addition
of the new lighting system in the auditorium made for an outstanding
week for everyone!  Thanks again!!!
Attaché on "America Sings" July 13 - Please Vote!!
Attaché will be a featured group on the GMC's show "America Sings"
hosted by Drew Lachey.  The show wil air July 13th at 9 PM on local
cable or DIRECTV channel 338.  Groups from colleges, universities
and the military, from barbershop to doo wop to gospel choirs will be
featured.  VOTE each week for your favorite group.  The winner will
receive $10,000!

Attaché Host Choir at Show Choir Nationals
 Attaché served as the Host Choir for the tenth straight year at the
Show Choir Nationals held at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, TN.
18 groups competed March 24-26. Grand Champion was Buffalo
Grove, IL, 1st Runner-up was Totino-Grace, MN, 2nd Runner-up
was Jackson Prep, MS, 3rd Runner-up was Homestead, IN, 4th
Runner-up was Edgewood, IN, and 5th Runner-up was Opelika, AL.
Girls division Grand Champion was Edgewood, IN and the Jr. High
division Grand Champion was St. Genevieve, CA.
Attaché Grand Champion of Totino-Grace Show Choir Spectacular
 Attaché was named Grand Champion of the Totino-Grace Show Choir
Spectacular held in Fridley, Minnesota March 5, 2011.  Attaché also
received the Best Choreography Award.  Hastings, MN was 1st runner-up
and received the Best Vocal Award.  Mitchell, SD was 2nd runner-up,
Bemidji, MN was 3rd runner-up, Waconia, MN was 4th runner-up and
Bloomington Kennedy, MN was 5th runner-up.

Attaché received all three judges first place votes.  Points were 
Attaché - 621, Hastings - 600, Mitchell - 593, Bemidji - 577,
Waconia - 559, and Bloomington Kennedy - 517.


This makes the second straight year Attaché has been undefeated in 
competition.  In 2011 Attaché was ranked first by every judge in finals
at all four of their competitions.  In nineteen years, Attaché has been
named Grand Champion in 57 out of 65 competitions entered.

March 24-26 Attaché will be the Host Choir for the 10th straight year at the
Show Choir Nationals held at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, TN.

The Attaché Spring Revue will be April 26-30 at the Clinton High School
Auditorium.  Tickets will go on sale in April.



Attaché Grand Champion of South Central Classic
 Attaché was named Grand Champion of the South Central Classic
held at Homewood High School, AL February 19.  Attaché also received
awards for Best Vocals, Best Overall Effect, and Best Band.  Wheaton-
Warrenville, IL was 1st runner-up and received awards for Best Choreography
and Best Overall Effect. 2nd runner-up was Jackson Prep, 3rd runner-up 
was South Jones, and 4th runner-up was Albertville, AL.

Scoring in Finals was by ranking by the five judges.  Attaché, ranked number
one in the final 2010 National Show Choir Ratings, received all five first place
votes.  Wheaton-Warrenville, ranked number five in the final 2010 National Show
Choir Ratings, received all five second place votes.  

Attaché has been named Grand Champion at all three competitions attended
this year.  This makes six Grand Championships in a row over the last two
years.  

Attaché will now travel to Minneapolis, MN for a competition at Totino-Grace
High School on March 5 to finish their competition season.

Attaché Grand Champion of Southern Showcase
 Attaché was named Grand Champion of the Southern Showcase held at
Opelika High School, AL February 12.  Attaché also received awards for
Best Vocals, Best Choreography, and Best Overall Effect.  All five judges
had Attache in first place.  2nd was Homewood, AL, 3rd was Auburn, AL,
4th was Enterprise, AL, and 5th was Albertville, AL.
Attaché Grand Champion of Mississippi State Show Choir Contest
 Attaché was named Grand Champion of the Mississippi State Show Choir
Contest held at William Carey University in Hattiesburg on February 5.
Attaché also received awards for Best Vocals, Best Choreography and
Best Overall Effect.  All 5 judges had Attaché in first place.  Jackson Prep
was 2nd, Petal was 3rd, Opelika, AL was 4th, and Northeast Jones was 5th.

Attaché has been selected as one of 25 show choirs
to vote for in Parade Magazine's Search For America's
Favoite Show Choir!  Friday the list will be cut to 10 with
one more chance to vote!

Heath Calvert in 3rd Broadway Show!
Heath Calvert, 1997 graduate of CHS and Attaché alum, is in
his 3rd Broadway Show.  Titled Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson,
the show is about the seventh president of the United States.
Heath is a swing and is the understudy for the lead role of
Andrew Jackson.  Heath's previous two Broadway shows were
Good Vibrations and Hair.  
Heath has also sung more than 70 engagements with the 
Indianapolis, Baltimore, Nashville, Phoenix, National Arts and
Alberta Symphony orchestras.  He has also appeared on
"Guiding Light", "CBS Early Show" and "The View."

Attache - 2010-2011 Car Wash/Pecan Sales
Welcome back Attache members and supporters! The new school
year is upon us.  It is already time to get our fundraisers going for
the students to help with their expenses.
 
The Attache Car Wash September 18 at Hurricane Bay from
9 AM - Noon.  Pledge sheets have been handed out.  100% of
this money collected will go into the student's accounts.
(Please thank the Greer family for the use of their facility!)

Attache Pecan Sales are a long-standing tradition in Clinton.
One pound pecan halves in a holiday bag will be sold for $9.
Last year we sold 7,000 bags - so think big in your numbers.
After delivery, it never fails that people want more!!!
The pecans are fresh off the trees from South Carolina and
will be delivered usually 1-2 weeks before Thanksgiving so
everyone has them for their holiday baking needs.  We will
need a number from everyone for the order by October 1,
but money isn't needed until they are delivered.  
Anyone not knowing a current Attache member can call the
Attache office at 601/924-0707 to place an order.

Thanks again for the great community support of these fundraisers
that have gone on for 30 years in Clinton!!






Attaché 30th Anniversary Spring Revue
The Attaché Spring Revue will be held April 27,28,29,30, and May 1
at 7:30 PM in the Clinton High School Auditorium.  This is the 30th 
Anniversary of Attaché.  Founded in 1980-81 by Winona Garner
Costello who directed Attaché for the first 12 years, Attaché has
been a leader in show choir since its inception.
Special guests performing on Wednesday and Thursday will be the
Ambassadors from Clinton Jr. High.  On Tuesday One Life
from Clinton Christian Academy will perform.  On Friday and
Saturday, a special pit number featuring Attaché alumni will
take the stage! Please make plans to join us as we celebrate
the timeless tradition of Attaché!

Public ticket sales will begin Saturday April 17 from 10 AM to 2 PM
at the Clinton High School Auditorium and will continue the next two 
weeks from 9-4 on school days.  Tickets will be $8 and $9.

Attaché Hosts Show Choir Nationals at The Grand Ol' Opry
Attaché was proud to serve as the Host Choir for Show Choir
Nationals for the ninth consecutive year.  The event was held
March 25-27 at The Grand Ol' Opry in Nashville, TN under the
leadership of Mr. Daryl Ussery.

Attaché members serve as group hosts, stage crew,
work the doors, admission, programs, etc.  It is great
to meet all the choirs from around the nation!

Attaché performed their 2010 competition show at the
conclusion of finals.  Mixed Group results were:
Grand Champion - Los Alamitos, CA
1st Runner-up - Burbank, CA
2nd Runner-up - Fairfield, OH
3rd Runner-up - Urbandale, IA
4th Runner-up - Johnston, IA
5th Runner-up - Findlay, OH

Women's Division winner was Los Alamitos, CA.
Men's Division winner was Mundelein, IL.
Jr. High Division winner was Fairfield, OH.

Congratulations to all 24 groups that participated!


Attaché Grand Champion at Fairfield, OH Crystal Classic
Attaché was named Grand Champion of the Crystal Classic held
at Fairfield H.S., OH on March 6, 2010.  Attaché also received
Best Choreography, Best Instrumental Combo, Best Costumes,
and Best Set.

John Burroughs, CA was 2nd and received Best Vocals.  3rd was
Center Grove H.S., Greenwood, IN.  4th was Decatur Eisenhower,
IL.  5th was Marysville, OH and 6th was Lawrence Central, 
Indianapolis, IN.  Piqua, OH was 7th and received Best Crew.

Attaché will next host the Show Choir Nationals held at the
Grand Ol' Opry in Nashville, TN March March 25-27.
Thank you for your support of this outstanding group of kids!


Attaché Grand Champion at Homewood, AL
Attaché was named Grand Champion of the South Central Classic
held at Homewood High School, Homewood, AL on February 20.
This was the group's 52nd Grand Championship out of 60 competitions
entered in the eighteen years under the direction of David and Mary
Fehr and continues Attaché's streak of having never been defeated
by another school from Mississippi in it's 30th year of existence.

Twenty-three high schools competed in the event.
Attaché received all the first place votes from the judges with 
scores of 197, 197, 199, 199, and 197 out of a possible 200.

Attaché also received the awards for Best Vocals, Best
Choreography, and Best Overall Effect.  Tupelo MS,
Auburn AL, South Jones MS, and Pascagoula MS
rounded out the finalists.

Next, Attaché travels to Fairfield, OH March 6 for The Crystal 
Classic.  Top national groups from California, Illinois, Indiana,
Mississippi, and Ohio will all be competing in the event.
Attaché named Grand Champion of Mississippi Show Choir Contest
Attaché was named Grand Champion of the Mississippi 
Show Choir Contest held at William Carey University in
Hattiesburg Saturday Feb. 6, 2010.  Hosted by Pearl River
Community College, 17 show choirs competed. 

Attaché also won the caption awards for Best Vocals,
Best Choreography, and Best Overall Effect.

Pascagoula, West Jones, Jackson Prep, and Northeast
Jones rounded out the finalists.



30th Anniversary Attache Dinner Theatre
 Attaché would like to thank everyone for their support of the
30th Anniversary Attaché Dinner Theatre at Mississippi
College January 30, 2010.  A silent auction, great dinner,
and Attaché entertainment made this a special evening.
Attaché alums Shelly Fairchild, Steven Nixon, Heather
Lottridge, Dexter Bishop, Jill Duckworth, and Tom Steadman
gave stellar performances.  Attaché gave a debut performance
of their 2010 competition show to conclude the evening.
We're already looking forward to next year's event!
30th Anniversary Attache Fall Revue
 The 30th Anniversary Attache Fall Revue will be held
December 2,3,4,5 at 7:30 PM in the Clinton High
School Auditorium.  Favorites from the past as
well as this year's new competition numbers will
be featured.  A slideshow of all the past years
will be shown.  We look forward to seeing you!

Tickets will be on sale in the Clinton High School
Auditorium Saturday November 14
from 10 AM - 2 PM.  Also weekdays from
9 AM- 4 PM November 16-20 and 
November 30 - December 4.

Attache Golf Tournament
Clinton High's Attache show choir boosters will host
their fundraising golf tournament October 1 at Live

Heath Calvert in 2nd Broadway Show!
Heath Calvert, 1997 Clinton H.S. and Attache alum, has landed
a role in HAIR on brooadway!  This is his second broadway
appearance - the first being in GOOD VIBRATIONS.
He has been cast as a chorus member and understudy
for Berger, one of the two lead roles.  Congratulations
and break a leg!
Annaclaire Wilbanks - Voices Of Mobile
2009 CHS and Attaché alumus Annaclaire Wilbanks
is the first freshman ever to be selected as a member
of the Voices of Mobile!  Directed by the legendary 
founder and director of the internationally known
contemporary Christian ensemble TRUTH,
Dr. Roger Breland has raised up a generation
of successful leaders in Christian music.
Avalon, Alicia, Kim Noblitt, Russ Lee, 4Him,
Jason Breland, Steven V. Taylor and Anthon Evans
are just a few examples of his impact on the Christian
music industry that earned Dr. Breland election to the
Gospel Music Hall of Fame.  "There's really only one
song to sing, and that is the song that will honor God.
We want to do that with excellence!"  Dr. Breland says.
Attaché would like to congratulate Annaclaire and wish
her well as she will perform in more than 100 concerts
this year!
Attaché - New York City Bound
Attaché will once again go to the Big Apple!
Beginning in 1998, every three-year member
of Attaché has been able to experience the 
bright lights of Times Square and experience
Broadway at it's finest!  This year's trip will
be from February 11-14.  Our last New York
trip, we were fortunate to see an Attaché alum
in one of the Broadway shows we attended.
Attaché's 30th Anniversary Year!
2009-2010 marks the 30th year of Attaché!  Founded in 1980-81 by
Winona Garner Costello with the encouragement of Dr. Virgil Belue,
the first superintendent of the Clinton Public Schools, Attaché will begin
their year-long celebration of this great tradition with the Attaché Fall Revue
Dec. 2,3,4,5 at 7:30 P.M nightly in the Clinton High School Auditorium. 
Songs from the past years will be featured. Historical costumes, pictures,
memorabilia, etc. will be a part of a year to remember!

Attaché at Show Choir Camps of America
Attaché continued it's strong presence at the 30th year of the
Show Choir Camps of America held at Millikin University in
Decatur, IL from June 21 to June 27.  Over four hundred Clinton
students have attended this camp over the years.  Attaché
traveled as a group in 2007 to be the guest performing group
for the camp which attracts students from across the nation.
Performing at this year's camp were rising seniors - Maegan
Bedells, Erin-Ashlyn Evans, Jaquael Hudson, and Lindy Ringler.
Juniors - Abbey Adcock, Durham Carney, Molly Crisler, Zach
DiGennaro, Patrick Finch, Cody McSparrin, Adam Metts,
and Natalie Murphy.
Sophomores - Demetries Morrow, Rivers Orman, and Lizzie
Zarich.  Injured and not able to attend - Hannah Hautle and
Natalie Bedells.
Freshman - Zach Ashcraft, Denton Carney, and Gerald Wicks.
A record number of Attaché members made the elite dance
group.  They were Maegan Bedells, Durham Carney, Zach
DiGennaro, Erin-Ashlyn Evans, Patrick Finch, Adam Metts,
Demetries Morrow, and Lindy Ringler.
Attaché Car Wash August 22
Attaché will continue their long standing tradition of helping
students raise money for the upcoming year with their annual
car wash. Please help students by making a pledge and then
coming to get your car washed at Hurricane Bay from 9-Noon
on Saturday August 22.
High School Musical 2
Clinton students once again pulled off a broadway musical
with ease in a short amount of time! Disney's High School
Musical 2 was this year's Summer Musical Workshop
effort which was a crowd favorite, especially with the younger
crowd.  With just two weeks of cast rehearsal, the show
June 11, 12, 13 delighted audiences from all over the state
of Mississippi and beyond.  Encore performances at youth
birthday parties during the summer included Annaclaire
Wilbanks - Sharpay, Parker Pierce - Ryan, and Corbin
Stanford - Troy!  A special thanks to the following graduated
seniors for sharing of their time and talents to the next generation!
They are Matt Carr, Neil Rosenbaum, Ryan Cole, Annaclaire
Wilbanks, Parker Pierce, Rachel Morgan, Catie Davis, Annie
Ellis, Aaryn Jackson, Austin Jackson, Jason Burgardt, 
Nick Worley, Meg Crisler, Kayla Long and Salena Pharis.
Also thanks to Attaché alumni April James, Dexter Bishop,
Harley McAlexander, and Jesse Emling for choreography
